ugh

Well, I had to go to the Doctors yesterday due to my stomach hurting for the past week. She said it might just be stress and my stomach is inflammed. I had to weigh in and I am still exactly at 151lbs. booooooo. Since today was my Chinese birthday... I had to go out and celebrate so i went with Christina to Olive Garden and took the food challenge. I ate all my food plus had a sunday and had cappachino. then of course - I puked it all up... at lease my sinus cough is good for something.

I've been trying to mix up my workouts so have been doing the Core Rhythms DVD's at home (been working too late to go to the gym).. so far, I've found the videos are slightly harder then it seems. my hips don't move that way! at least not yet! lol. I'm trying.... they're fun - but seems like all the videos are about the same movements so gets old after a while. I'm going to work on it until I can do all the moves at tempo.

Besides major stomach pains - I've been eating better and still trying to shed the pounds off me. not much as for results as of yet but there's no quitting here.

Changing it up

Weigh in: 151 lbs

So since I've been here since October, I've gained a total of 10lbs. I have found it difficult to get back into a routine since I've been here. Starting a new job, settling into a new home while getting use to a new state new coulture and trying on track with my fitness has been a challenge.

It's time for action. The 50,000 sq ft gym at my resort is super nice, however, the vibe and equipment is old. I haven't been able to do my normal routines and I can't find a way to get a solid workout in. During Christmas break. I finally made it to the pool. Well well.... I found my new workout routine for now!

I am commiting myself to at least 4-5 days at the pool. 90 minutes each night (30 minutes - dry sauna and 1 hours doing laps in the pool {20 Laps Minimum} So far so good. The Dry Sauna has helped greatly relieve the sinusitus symptoms and even helps to get rid of my headache and cough COMPLETELY. I also did some research that 20 minutes in a Dry Sauna is the same as taking a 30 minute brisk walk. there's also a whirlpool that I let myself enjoy after the workouts for 5 minutes and I think that's helping to relieve any muscle soreness... All in all, a great workout and a great way to de-stress at the end of a long day.

I will be back with next week's results.

So far this week I have been to the pool Monday and Wednesday. I will be heading up to Chicago for the weekend and made sure where I'm staying has a swimming pool. I need to shed these extra pounds and be at least 131lbs by June. That's 6 months to lose 20 lbs.
